Three injured in road accident at Rahalthal Mugalmaidan areas

Kishtwar, May 14: Former Minister J&K, Ghulam Mohd Saroori expressed concerned over growing accident in district Kishtwar. On Tuesday evening when an auto fell down in deep gorge at Rahalthal Mugalmaidan areas of district Kishtwar resulting into severe injuries among 3 passengers. They are being treating at PHC Chatroo.

Saroori talked telephonically with the family members of injured and assured them of full support for their medical treatment. He urged DC Kishtwar to ensure that the hospital staff to extend all necessary care and attention to the victims and to ensure that no compromise is made in their treatment.

Saroori further expressed grave concern over the increasing number of road accidents in the hilly Chenab Valley region, stressing the urgent need for comprehensive road safety reforms. He underlined several key measures, including the installation of crash barriers in vulnerable areas and better driver training programs.

The former Minister also emphasized the need for targeted awareness campaigns to educate the public on road safety and urged administration to conduct detailed analyses of previous accidents to identify recurring risk factors and address them proactively.
