Ganderbal, September 1:A pipping ceremony was held at the District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal to honor the promotion of Shri Owaise Rashid, JKPS, to the rank of Superintendent of Police.
The ceremony was presided over by SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal, JKPS, who pinned the new rank insignia on the promoted officer.
Congratulating SP Owaise Rashid, SSP Poswal advised him to continue serving with greater zeal, enthusiasm, and dedication. He emphasized that promotion is not merely an elevation in status but also brings added responsibilities and challenges, especially in fostering teamwork within the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The SSP extended his best wishes to the officer for future endeavors, while the promoted officer pledged to work with the same spirit and commitment to ensure better public services.
Several senior police officers were also present on the occasion.
