Ganderbal Mar 20(KNZ) : A pedestrian was killed and another person injured after a motorcycle hit him in the Lar area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.
An official told Kashmir News Zone that a bike ridden by Irfan Ahmad Mir, a resident of Waliwar, struck a pedestrian identified as Ghulam Hassan Teli of Lar, resulting in his on-the-spot death, they said.
The pillion rider, Arshid Ahmad of Waliwar, sustained injuries in the incident and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation, officials added.(KNZ)
