Ganderbal, Mar 12(KNZ): District Youth President Ganderbal of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Usman Yaqoob, has strongly condemned the attack on party president Farooq Abdullah that took place yesterday.
Usman termed the incident unfortunate and said such acts of violence have no place in a democratic society. He said the youth of Ganderbal strongly condemn the attack and stand in solidarity with Dr Farooq Abdullah.
He added that political differences should be resolved through dialogue and democratic means rather than violence, and urged people to maintain peace and harmony in society. Yaqoob also appealed to the authorities to ensure the safety and security of political leaders(KNZ)
