Ganderbal, 30th October 2025 A Mega Unclaimed Deposits cum Financial Awareness Event was successfully organized today at Block Wakura under the theme “Your Money, Your Right.”
The event was organized by the District Lead Office Ganderbal and CFL Safapora in collaboration with J&K Bank Branch Wakura.
The programme was graced by Cluster Head Ganderbal Mr Syed Irfan Sahib as Chief Guest, DDC Member Wakura Mr. Mohd Ashraf Ganie, Mr Peer Mohd Yousf ,
Branch Head J&K Bank Wakura ,Batwina, Grameen Bank Dab,Batwina, Wakura ,Manzoor Ahmad Agriculture AEO, FLCC Ganderbal Mr Malik Zahoor, Mr Imaad Koul Sahib from LDM Office Ganderbal,
Ms Sameena Madam J&K Bank RSETI, representatives from ICDS Project Workers and Supervisor Gul Mudasir, Mr Nazir Ah Handicrafts Wakura Block, Fisheries Department representative, JK NRLM, and a large number of local community members, including Skilled workers from Handloom Trainees.
The CFL Safapora team, led by Centre Manager Mr. Riyaz Ahmad, along with Mr. Ishfaq Majeed Parah and Mr. Bilal Bhat, played a vital role in organizing the programme. The event aimed to create awareness among the public about unclaimed deposits and highlight the importance of financial literacy and enrolment under various Social Security Schemes.
During his address, Mr Syed Irfan Sahib Cluster Head Ganderbal appreciated the CFL Safapora team for their commendable efforts in reaching out to the community and promoting financial inclusion. The event witnessed huge participation from people belonging to all walks of life.
The programme was beautifully hosted by Motivational Speaker Mr. Bilal Bhat, who also emphasized the importance of collective awareness and participation in government financial initiatives. On the occasion Appreciation certificates were awarded different Departments, Bramch Managers ,stake holders. The event concluded with the distribution of appreciation certificates among the participants and a vote of thanks delivered by the Cluster Head Mr Syed Irfan Sahib .
