Kulgam March 11: J&K Police conducted an inspection to prevent the misuse of agricultural chemicals and to ensure strict compliance with safety regulations at chemical and fertilizer shops.
Surprise inspections were carried out by the teams from Kulgam police across the district under the supervision of senior officers. The checking focused on verifying stock records, sale registers, licenses, storage practices, and overall adherence to safety protocols to curb any illegal diversion or misuse of regulated materials.
J&K Police assures general public that such inspection drives will continue to promote accountability, uphold lawful trade practices and enhance public safety. Shopkeepers were advised to maintain proper documentation and cooperate fully during inspections.
