Ganderbal, 19 Dec:Continuing its sustained and focused drive against absconders, Ganderbal Police achieved another major success by arresting an absconder who had been evading arrest for the past six years.
The arrested person has been identified as Mohd Munshi Gojer, son of Wali Mohammad Gojer, resident of Khanpora Nagrota. He was wanted in connection with FIR No. 50/2020 registered under Sections 279 and 427 IPC at Police Station Gund.
Acting on specific and credible inputs, a police team from PS Gund, after sustained and strenuous efforts, successfully apprehended the absconder. Following completion of all legal formalities, the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Kangan, from where he was remanded to Central Jail Srinagar.
Ganderbal Police reiterated its firm commitment to bringing all absconders and offenders to justice, asserting that no individual will be allowed to evade the law.
