GANDERBAL, January 25:Ganderbal Police on Saturday observed National Voter’s Day–2026 with a solemn pledge-taking ceremony at the District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to democratic values and electoral integrity.
On the occasion, SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal–JKPS administered the Voter’s Pledge to police officers and jawans. The personnel pledged to uphold the democratic traditions of the nation and to support free, fair, and ethical elections.
They also resolved to exercise their right to vote responsibly and to encourage citizens to participate in the electoral process without fear, pressure, or inducement.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Ganderbal highlighted the significance of National Voter’s Day in promoting voter awareness and reinforcing the power of the ballot in strengthening democracy.
