In a significant move aimed at supporting victims of terrorism, Ganderbal Police has established a dedicated Assistance Cell at the District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal. The initiative is designed to provide streamlined support, guidance, and grievance redressal to individuals and families affected by terrorist activities in the district.
The newly launched Assistance Cell will facilitate the smooth registration of cases, documentation of grievances, and ensure timely redressal through coordination with relevant authorities. Victims or their family members can contact the cell via the helpline numbers 9541786755 and 0194-2416113.
The helpline will be operational on all working days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Reaffirming its commitment to public welfare, J&K Police stated that all genuine cases will be thoroughly addressed and forwarded to the concerned authorities for prompt action. This initiative reflects the police department’s dedication to ensuring justice, support, and dignity for those affected by terrorism.
