Ganderbal, Nov 4:Reaffirming its commitment to public safety and accident prevention, Ganderbal Police has launched a proactive road safety drive under the banner of “Operation Bachao”, installing a series of road safety and cautionary signboards at critical locations across the Zojila Sector.
The initiative aims to minimize road accidents and encourage safe driving practices along one of the most challenging and accident-prone routes of the district. The police team, after carefully identifying and mapping vulnerable spots, installed signboards carrying warning messages, speed limits, and safety advisories to alert and guide motorists navigating the mountainous stretch.
The step reflects Ganderbal Police’s ongoing efforts to safeguard lives, raise awareness about road discipline, and prevent mishaps on vital highways.
