Ganderbal, January 31, 2026:Ganderbal Police on Friday accorded a warm and dignified farewell to Sub-Inspectors Manzoor Ahmad and Jahan-zaib on their superannuation at the Conference Hall of District Police Office (DPO), Ganderbal.
The farewell ceremony was attended by SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS) along with other senior police officers of the district.
Addressing the gathering, SSP Ganderbal lauded the dedication, professionalism, and exemplary service of the retiring officers during their tenure in the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
He highlighted their commitment to duty and valuable contribution to maintaining law and order in the district. As a gesture of appreciation and respect, SSP Ganderbal and other senior officers presented mementos and gifts to the retiring officers.
Other officers and jawans of Ganderbal Police also expressed their gratitude for the guidance and support provided by SI Manzoor Ahmad and SI Jahan-zaib over the years, wishing them a happy, healthy, and peaceful post-retirement life.
