Srinagar 02 Jan (KNZ):recognition of outstanding and exemplary service during the year 2025, the Director General of Police has awarded the DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificate to several officers vide Order No. 4819 of 2025, issued on December 31, 2025.
Among the recipients is Rajeev Raina JKPS, SDPO Kangan, whose professional excellence and people-centric policing have earned widespread appreciation. He is widely known for his strong public relations skills, effective community outreach, and commitment to transparent policing.
In addition to his current responsibilities in Kangan subdivision, Rajeev Raina has also served in Shopian district, where his role in maintaining law and order and fostering police-public cooperation was highly appreciated. His calm approach, accessibility to the public, and proactive engagement have significantly contributed to peace and stability in the areas he has served.
