Ganderbal, 26 Nov :District Police Ganderbal today marked Constitution Day 2025 with solemnity, enthusiasm, and a renewed pledge to uphold the core values of the Indian Constitution. Events were held across all police establishments of the district, reflecting the force’s unwavering commitment to constitutional duties and democratic principles.
The main function took place at the District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal, where SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Ahmad Poswal–JKPS, administered the Constitutional Oath to officers and officials. In his address, the SSP highlighted the importance of strengthening constitutional ethos within the policing system and urged personnel to uphold justice, equality, and integrity while performing their duties. He underscored that the mandate of the Constitution must be implemented in both letter and spirit in every aspect of public service.
Oath-taking ceremonies were simultaneously conducted at all Police Stations, Police Posts, and specialized units across the district, with senior officers leading their teams in reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values.
Reiterating the dedication of the force, SSP Poswal said that J&K Police will continue to work tirelessly to protect democratic ideals, safeguard the rights of citizens, and uphold the rule of law in Ganderbal.
