GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today chaired a comprehensive meeting here to review the physical and financial progress of works under District CAPEX budget, CDF, SASCI, Tribal Plan, UT CAPEX and DA-JGUA schemes for the financial year 2025-26.

At the outset, Chief Planning Officer briefed the meeting regarding the progress achieved under District CAPEX Budget, sector wise status of new and ongoing works, and expenditure statement for new and ongoing works.

DC reviewed sector wise position of tendering, allotment, and completion, besides status of projects under SASCI.

DC directed all executing agencies to ensure early completion of the remaining District CAPEX works. He emphasized strict adherence to quality standards, transparency in execution and proper utilization of funds under the District CAPEX budget.

He instructed that the works not taken up yet to be expedited and completed at the earliest.

DC further instructed the departments to expedite financial expenditure to avoid lapsing of funds and ensure regular monitoring of works at the ground level.

BDOs and all executing agencies were directed to closely monitor the execution of CDF works and take up remaining works at the earliest.

DC also took a detailed review of various ongoing projects under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) programme.

He instructed officers to maintain strict adherence to the approved deadlines and ensure that all ongoing projects are executed with high standards of quality and transparency. He also directed the executing agencies to ensure proper financial management and utilization of funds.

DC also reviewed the progress of UT Capex works pertaining to the Revenue Department and works under the Tribal Plan. He directed the executing agencies to ensure timely completion of all works under the UT Capex sector and to utilize the released funds timely.

The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer Jal Shakti Department, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive Engineers from KPDCL, R&B, PHE and I&FC, Block Development Officers, District and Sectoral Officers, besides other concerned officers and officials.
