Tral, Feb 28: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 180 Battalion on Saturday organized a free medical camp at Jawaharpora, Lam Tral under its Civic Action Programme, reaffirming its commitment to community welfare and public service.
The medical camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, including elderly citizens, women, and children. A team of qualified doctors and paramedical staff conducted health check-ups and provided free medicines to the patients. Basic diagnostic services were also made available on the spot to ensure proper medical consultation and immediate relief.
Officials of 180 Battalion said the initiative was aimed at extending healthcare support to the people living in remote areas and strengthening the bond between security forces and the local community. They emphasized that such outreach programmes play a vital role in addressing primary health concerns and spreading awareness about preventive healthcare.
Local residents appreciated the efforts of the CRPF and expressed gratitude for organizing the camp, which brought essential medical services closer to their doorstep.
The CRPF reiterated its commitment to continue conducting similar welfare activities in the future under the Civic Action Programme for the benefit of the people.
