Srinagar:Youth clashed with the government forces in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Reports said that youth took to streets and hurled rocks at a forces’ vehicle in the main town area.
The forces responded by firing tear gas, triggering clashes.
Meanwhile, a search operation is going on in the Lam forests of the area following a brief exchange of fire that left a soldier injured.
Reports said that militants opened fire on a search party in Lam forests before escaping into the thick vegetation.
They said that forces have launched a search operation to nab the militants, believed to be three in number.GK
