Srinagar, Dec 9: A woman’s body was recovered from Pazalpora area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, officials said.
Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner, locals spotted the body and immediately informed police, following which a team reached the spot and took custody of the deceased.
The woman was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal procedures, they added.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter, and further investigation to ascertain identity and the cause of death is underway. (KNC)
