Ganderbal, 02 Dec:As part of its sustained campaign against drug abuse and to foster stronger community–police engagement, Ganderbal Police on Tuesday organised a Debate Competition under the Civic Action Programme at Government Higher Secondary School Ganderbal.

The event revolved around the theme “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan,” encouraging students to voice their views against substance abuse and contribute to the vision of a drug-free society.

The programme was attended by DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Dr. Urfaan (JKPS) and DySP DAR Shri Altaf Khan (JKPS), who interacted with students and delivered insightful addresses on the collective responsibility required to eliminate drug abuse.

They underscored the vital role of youth in furthering the mission of a Nasha Mukht Bharat and urged students to remain focused on academics, personal growth, and nation-building.

Senior police officers appreciated the students for their confidence, awareness and active involvement in combating the drug menace.

Ganderbal Police reaffirmed its commitment to organising such awareness programmes to strengthen the fight against drug abuse and ensure a safer, healthier future for the younger generation.
