Ganderbal, 23 Nov:In a decisive action to curb dangerous driving practices and ensure public safety, Ganderbal Police carried out a special drive against traffic violations at Model Naka Chinar, during which nine (09) teenagers were detained for performing risky and life-threatening stunts on the National Highway (NHW).

During the operation, police also seized five (05) modified motorcycles that were found to have concealed rear registration number plates, a clear violation of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Officials informed that the detained teenagers will be counselled and subsequently handed over to their families after executing a good-behaviour bond, ensuring they do not repeat such unlawful activities.

Ganderbal Police has appealed to parents to remain vigilant regarding their children’s activities and has urged the youth to avoid stunt biking and other unsafe practices that pose serious risks to their own lives and the safety of the public.
