Ganderbal, 21 Nov:In a continued effort to enhance institutional security and maintain discipline within healthcare facilities, Ganderbal Police on Friday conducted surprise inspections of lockers and personal storage spaces belonging to doctors, paramedical staff, and employees across multiple hospitals in the district.
The inspection drive was carried out by designated police teams in close coordination with hospital managements to ensure transparency and strict adherence to security protocols. The initiative aims to prevent any possible misuse of hospital premises, curb illegal or unethical practices, and reinforce accountability among staff.
During the inspection, police thoroughly checked all lockers and storage spaces. Officers also interacted with the medical and supportive staff, sensitizing them about the importance of maintaining vigilance, reporting suspicious activities promptly, and ensuring that hospital facilities are not exploited for any unlawful purpose.
Officials stated that similar surprise checks will continue periodically as part of the police department’s commitment to protecting public institutions and ensuring a safe environment for patients, attendants, and healthcare workers.
Ganderbal Police has urged all healthcare staff and stakeholders to extend full cooperation and comply with security guidelines for the greater good and safety of the community.
