Ganderbal, October 27:As part of the nationwide observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, the District Police Ganderbal organized oath-taking ceremonies across all police establishments in the district to reaffirm their commitment to integrity, transparency, and a corruption-free public service system.
The main event was held at the District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal, where Senior Superintendent of Police, Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS), administered the Integrity Pledge to police officers and personnel. During the ceremony, all participants took a solemn oath to uphold honesty, ethical conduct, and accountability in the discharge of their official duties, vowing to work collectively toward building a society free from corruption.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal highlighted the crucial role of vigilance and moral integrity in policing. He urged all officers and officials to maintain professionalism, uphold public trust, and serve as role models of transparency and responsibility.
Similar oath-taking ceremonies were simultaneously organized at all police stations and subordinate units across the district, with officers and jawans participating enthusiastically, reflecting their dedication to ethical governance and public service.
