Ganderbal, October 11:As part of its ongoing community outreach and public grievance redressal initiative, Ganderbal Police today observed Thana Diwas at Police Station Gund. The event was presided over by SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal–JKPS, who interacted with local residents, community representatives, and members of various public bodies.

During the interaction, participants raised several community and policing-related issues concerning their respective areas. SSP Ganderbal gave a patient hearing to all grievances and assured timely redressal in coordination with the concerned civil departments.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from respectable citizens, PRI members, local Auqaf Committees, Gujjar & Bakerwal communities, and other public representatives. The participants appreciated the efforts of Ganderbal Police for providing a direct platform for citizens to voice their concerns and strengthen police-public coordination.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Ganderbal emphasized that Thana Diwas acts as a vital bridge between the police and the community, fostering transparency, accountability, and mutual trust. He highlighted the importance of community cooperation in maintaining peace, harmony, and effective law enforcement in the district.
