Ganderbal, October 09, 2025: The Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, Mr. Sheikh Babar Hussain, convened a monthly review meeting to assess the performance of Legal Aid Defence Counsels (LADCs) of District Ganderbal. The meeting aimed to ensure high standards of service delivery, identify challenges faced by LADCs, and discuss strategies for improvement.

All Legal Aid Defence Counsels (LADCs) of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal attended the meeting, demonstrating their dedication to delivering quality legal aid services to the legal aid beneficiaries. During the meeting, the Deputy Chief LADC Ganderbal presented a comprehensive status report on the assigned cases, highlighting that 36 cases were pending. The breakdown included 10 Sessions Trials and 26 Magisterial Trials, with 5 individuals being Under Trial Prisoners (UTPs).

The Secretary, DLSA Ganderbal, reviewed the case files and registers maintained by the LADCs, observing their diligence in attending cases and maintaining records.
