GANDERBAL, June 2, 2025:
In a move aimed at recognizing dedication and long-standing service, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS), has approved in-situ promotions for 28 police personnel in the district.
The promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and include 11 Constables and 17 Followers who have each rendered nine years of uninterrupted service in the same rank without any prior promotion.
SSP Poswal personally felicitated the promoted officials, acknowledging their consistent commitment to duty and public service. He commended their contributions to maintaining peace, discipline, and law enforcement in the district.
“These promotions are a well-earned recognition of hard work and dedication. I trust that the promoted personnel will continue to serve with integrity and renewed motivation,” said SSP Ganderbal.
This initiative is part of the department’s continued efforts to boost morale and reward service excellence among its ranks.
