Kulgam, May 25 : A 50-year-old woman critically injured after being hit by a scooty in KBpora area of Kulgam district on Sunday, officials said.
An official said, The injured has been identified as Gulshana Akhter, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Malik, a resident of KB Pora Kulgam. The incident occurred when a scooty struck her, leaving her severely injured.
She was immediately shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for initial treatment. However, due to the seriousness of her condition, doctors referred her to SKIMS Soura in Srinagar for advanced medical care.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
