Srinagar, May 10: An 18-year old youth from Pulwama district is missing since May 5, his family said on Thursday.
The family of Muzamil Nabi Dar son of Ghulam Nabi Dar of Rahmoo Pulwama said he let on Saturday last to appear in BA 1st year examination but didn’t return home, the family of the youth told GNS.
“Since then we have no information about him,” they added.
When Muzamil did not return until Monday, the family approached the Rajpora police station with a written complaint.
A police officer told GNS that a complaint from the family of the missing person. “We have launched an investigation”, the officer said. Official sources said that it would be premature to conclude that missing youth may have joined militant ranks. (GNS)
