Ganderbal 24 Aug【KNZ】:Youth died for non-availability of ambulance driver in Kangan of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District

 

Relatives and other residents protest on sgr National Highway at main market Kangan demanding strict punishment to the ambulance driver and Shouting slogans against the hospital authorities.

The deceased youth was identified as 22 year old Mohd Rafiq Bhat S/O Ab Rashid Bhat a resident of kachnambal Kangan a mechanic by profession fell unconscious on Wednesday afternoon at his own automobile shop.

Rafiq was brought immediately to Trauma Hospital Kangan but there was no Ambulance driver available in the Hospital to ferry him to SKIMS Soura for special treatment.

 

 

 

They said that after calling a local from nearby Sumo Stand Kangan, Rafiq was taken to SKIMS Soura however doctors declared him brought dead at 9 pm Wednesday.

BMO Kangan Dr Shabir Ahmad Awan told that the ambulance driver has been placed under suspension immediately and besides have constitute a committee to probe the matter.【KNZ】
