Floral tributes paid to Martyr Imran Tak

Jammu Novermber, 18: To pay homage to martyr Police officer Imran Tak, a wreath laying ceremony was held in DPL Udhampur.

Deputy Chief Ministers J&K Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh led ministers, legislators, civil and police/security force officers and  jawans in laying the floral wreaths to the body of the martyr.

Cabinet Ministers Shri Nayeem Akhter, Shri C P Ganga, MLAs Sat Sharma, Harsh Dev Singh, Director General of Police Dr S.P.Vaid, IGP Jammu, Director SKPAU, IGP Personal, DIG Udhampur – Reasi Range, DC Udhampur, SSP Udhampur and a number of SsP & Commandants of armed/IR, DysP and Jawans were among the civil/police officers who presented wreaths and paid floral tribute to martyr.

In the evening, the martyr was laid to rest at his native place, Basantgarh. Member legislatives Shri. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Shri Harsh Dev Singh,  DIG, Udhampur-Resi Range, Shri Varinder Sharma, SSP Udhampur, Rayees Mohammad Bhat, DC Udhampur, Shri Ravinder Kumar, ASP Udhampur, Fasil Qurashi,  besides a huge gathering of people participated in the Namaz Janaza of the Martyr.  

As has been reported earlier SI Imran Tak resident of Basantgarh, Udhampur gave supreme sacrifice of his life in a terrorist attack at Gulabbagh, Srinagar yesterday.
