BARAMULLA, AUGUST 19: Vice-Chairman JKPCC, Sheikh Khalid Jehangir today conducted an extensive tour of Baramulla to inspect the ongoing developmental projects in the district.

 

The VC inspected various ongoing projects including construction of Medical College, District Hospital and Pernia Bridge in Baramulla.

 

While inspecting the ongoing works on Medical College Baramulla, the Vice-Chairman was informed that Medical College will be completed at the cost of 139 crores and would be completed in given timeframe.

 

He also inspected the ongoing works on 65 meter span Pernia bridge being constructed at an cost of Rs 492 lakhs connecting village Pernia with Main Highway of district. He directed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the pace of work so that it is completed within stipulated time and people of the area are benefitted.

 

Later, Sheikh Khalid Jehangir chaired a meeting with concerned officers to review the progress of various developmental works being executed in the district. He directed for expediting the works for their early completion without compromising quality standards.
