‘Militants give sacrifices for Islam, freedom of Kashmir’

Srinagar, Sep 15: United Jihad Council (UJC) on Friday paid tributes to two slain Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants including its commander, Abu Ismail who were Thursday killed in a brief encounter that raged between forces and them at Aribagh Nowgam area of Srinagar.

In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain while quoting the outfit chief, Syed Salah-ud-din as saying, “The sacrifices rendered by Abu Ismail and Abu Qasim won’t go waste.”

The UJC chief said that the militants have sacrificed their lives for Islam and the freedom struggle of Kashmir. “The struggle for which the militants are sacrificing their lives will be taken to the logical conclusion. We have chosen the path of sacrifice and we will achieve our goal,” he said.
