Srinagar 25 Oct : Two militants have been killed in an ongoing operation in Arwani area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, police said on Thursday evening.
A police official said so far two militants have been killed and searches are underway to look for another militant believed to have been killed in the gunfight.
He said the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained. “Three weapons have been recovered from the gunfight site,” he said.
Earlier today, a gunfight broke out between militants and the government forces in Arwani area of Anantnag district.
Reports said that the gunfight broke out after forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Arwani.
