Srinagar, January 02:- Pattan police have acheived a great success by nabbing three notorious drug peddlers namely 1 Muzafar Ah lone S/o Ab Rehman lone R/o palhallan 2. Mohd Rajab Teli S/o wali Mohd Teli R/o pattan 3.Shaheen Ah mir S/o Sona u llah Mir R/o Palhallan .
The trio were involved in selling poppy straw along national highway and other areas of pattan.From their possession arround 110kgs poppy straw was recovered along with Wagonr bearing reg . No. DL7CB/9967 and two grinding machines and two weighing machines.
This racket was involved in supplying drugs to the youth of pattan and adjoining areas especially the drivers which results in accidents along national highway.
The drive is intiated on the special directions of worthy SSP bla and it has been stresed upon to have zero tolerance on drug abuse.
