Srinagar 01 Aug : The seeping tank and dumping yard has became trouble for both staff and students of women’s college Srinagar.

The water seeps out from the septic tank near hostel leading to the problem of water logging in area creating strong foul smell.
The seen near zoology department is not so different. The garbage is piled open outside department and usually setting ablaze creating toxic gasess.

While talking with B.A 3rd semester student Rimza (name changed ) during this hot summer the seeping water has led to many water born diseases it has increase the number of mosquitoes and because of that we are facing health issues which is pondering our studies ,”.

She also added that authorities pass from here with their nose closed with cloth despite that they don’t take any stern action.

Meanwhile students face a lot of problems owing  to the stink it creates.

“Many times we are forced to bunk our classes to save ourselves from the strong smell coming from the garbage besides water logging  also harm the health of students as the space in full mosquitoes and other insects,” said a student of zoology.
