A student was hospitalised after he was allegedly hung upside down and thrashed by a teacher in Qazipora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
The student was hospitalized as he had received injuries in his both ears, said an official.

He said that the student was beaten mercilessly as the teacher pulled him by his ears and left him hanging for about 15 minutes, resulting in injuries to his both ears.
He said the incident happened at Government Middle School Qazipora.(GK)
