GHSS Bla celebrates annual day

Baramulla, 19 October: Commissioner Secretary School education Farooq Ahmad Shah today said that a strong education system is the foundation stone of a strong nation. He said that those nations who consolidated their education mechanism have excelled in every field.

Commissioner Secretary said this on the annual day of Government Girls Higher Secondary school Baramulla wherein he was invited as the chief guest.

Among others Director School Education GN Itoo, Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba, Chairman BWJA Senior Journalist Qaramat Qayoom, Chief Education Officer   Ab Ahad Ashie, Principal GHSS Baramulla Suraya Jabeen, Tehsildar Baramulla Maeen kakroo,Students were present on the occasion.

 

While terming a teacher as a nation builder, Farooq Shah signified his role in the overall career development of a student and said that our commitment is to build capacity building measures so that overall performance of the teachers are enhanced. Meanwhile he urged upon the teachers to create conducive environ while dealing with the students and stressed for adopting student friendly learning measures.

 

Moreover, the secretary announced the up gradation of basic infrastructure of the institute and said that every basic facility with respect to the education will be facilitated within stipulated time frame. He also reiterated its commitment of providing quality education and said that all the vacant positions of the institute will be filled within a week time so that the students may not suffer due to scarcity of faculty.

 

Speaking on the Occasion Director School education G N Itoo, who was the guest of honor, said that strengthening educational curriculum had always remained our priority. He also hails various students who presented various cultural programmes on the occasion and announced Rs 10000 award for the team who performed a drama.

 

Earlier a similar function was organized by Govt Higher Secondary School Pattan where they have been invited as guests.
