Shopian , October 17 [KNZ]: A group of People set blaze the house of PDP Worker Mohammad Ramzan Sheikh at Chak Houmona in Shopian district just now.
The Two storied house was gutted completely in the fire.
Mohammad Ramzan Sheikh was killed by militants late last evening but during the scuffle one HM militant Showka Ahmad Kumar @ Showkat Falahi was also killed.
According to reports three HM militants fired on a PDP worker Mohammad Ramzan Sheikh son of Abdul Razzaq resident of Chak Houmona in Shopian district late last evening .
He died on the spot but Some people resisted the attempt of militants and during the Scuffle a Militant identified as Showkat Ahmad Kumar resident of Trenj, Shopian was also killed.
After the burial of the slain Militant, a group of people reached Chak Houmona and set on fire the house of Slain PDP Worker.
