Shopian launches Special drive againest Motorcyclists, realizes Rs. 43700, from traffic violators

SHOPIAN OCT 07 [KNZ]: Continuing its efforts to curb the violation of traffic norms, a team of Motor vehicle Department (MVD) led by ARTO Shopian Er Abdul Maajid Bhat, today established check points at different locations of the district Shopian.

During the checking many Motorcyclists were found without helmet. A fine of Rs 43700. under MVD rules was collected from the violators besides the challan of 147 Motorcycles,
