Ganderbal 13 Mar (KNZ):A spell of moderate rainfall is enough to cause water logging in Arch village of Ganderbal district.

Local residents said that Roads and Building (R&B) department is spending huge money on constructing roads but without proper planning.“There is no drainage system along roadside as a result; the road remains waterlogged most of the time,” they said.

“We suffer a lot while commuting on the road. It can even cause accidents. Pedestrians face a lot of problem. They are compelled to take other path during rainy days,” they added.

Local residents said,”During rainfall, children can’t even go to school due to waterlogging on the road. The water even enters into our lawns.”

Locals said we have approched to district administration various times but of no avail.KNZ
