Asks employees to wait till Apr 2018 for 7th pay commission
Srinagar, Oct 16 : The Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb A Drabu has assured the employees that the government will announce the regularization of daily wagers before Darbar Move.
Dr Drabu who met a delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action Committee (3rd front) has assured them that the regularization announcement will be made before Darbar move, this year.
The delegation while highlighting their plights asked the Finance Minister to end the disparity of pay anomaly.
Dr Drabu as per the delegation assured them that he will look into the matter.
The EJAC (3rd front) also asked the state’s Finance Minister to remove the 7th pay commission who in reply asked them to wait till April 2018 in this regard.
The delegation also informed the Finance Minister that the several employees are not getting salaries in their accounts due to the some technical faults.
The employees while sharing details with KNS said that the Finance Minister assured the employees that there matter will be looked into at the earliest.
Dr Drabu as per the employees gave patience hearing to the grievances of employees.
Several other issues were also raised during the meeting.
The employees also thanked Dr Drabu for giving patience hearing and assurances over their demands.
Despite repeated attempts, Dr Drabu couldn’t be contacted for the comments. (KNS)
