Srinagar;27 June 2018 :Police Station Maisuma arrested accused involved in cyber crime cheating in a case FiR No 14 of 2018 u/s 419 RPC And 66 c Information Technology Act of Police Station Kothibagh entrusted to Station House Officer Police Station Maisuma for investigation.
The instant case stands registered on 11.03.2018 on the written compliant received from shri Khursheed Muzafar ,Chief Information Security Officer J and k bank Ltd,MA Road, Srinagar.
During the course of investigation two persons namely IIlyas Ahmad Mir S/O Gh Hassan Mir R /O Brazloo, Kulgam & Junaid Bashir s/o Bashir Ahmad Sheikh R/ o Dal Hassanyaar, Habakadal ,Srinagar were found involved for creating identical but Fake website of J & K Bank for certain ulterior motives.One accused Junaid Basheer Sheikh was arrested on 26.06 2018.However ,another accused is still at large .
Further investigation of the case is going on.
