Handwara,14 December: the directions OF SSP Handwara a Police community partnership group meeting was held at Police station Handwara presided by inspector Azim Iqbal SHO police station Handwara
in which people from different sections of society participated in large no.
Various issues were raised like drug menace,traffic conjustion, illegal encroachecment of footpaths etc
Whereas the participants appreciated and applauded the role of Handwara police for curbing drug menace in town Hdw and assured their full cooperation for continuing the drive against drug peddlers and consumer.
The RESPECTABLES of locality raised some issues regarding non availability of public toilets at bus stand Hdw.further stated that New bus stand has become a dustbin as Muncipal committe Handwara never bothered to maintain the hygiene of Yard.
Participants also highlighted an issue regarding traffic conjustion from main chowk Handwara to Hospital Handwara as the said sector of road has been illegally encroached by cart vendors etc.
At last SHO Handwara thanked the participants for spending their precious time and assured them that their grievances will be redressed to concerned authorities on priority and appealed the general public to keep close vigil on anti social elements…
