Ganderbal 26 Nov (KNZ):Security forces on Monday have claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Badurkund, Gutlibagh forests area of Ganderbal district, seizing a cache of arms and ammunition.
“Army along with Special Oprational Group SOG in forests Ganderbal have busted a militant hideout in Buderkund Gutlibagh unearthing a cache of warlike stores,” an official said.
Based on intelligence inputs, security forces launched a search operation in Buderkund Gutlibagh forests area of Ganderbal district in the Monday afternoon,” said an police official.
He said that a hideout under a rock was busted during the operation.
“Arms and ammunition, including INSAS Riffle 01,Magazines 04,INSAS live 80 Rounds,AK47 37 Rounds,Chinese Grenade 01,01 Set of utensils and blankets. were recovered,” said the official.
“In this regard, police has taken cognizance and an FIR has been registered in Police Station Ganderbal.KNZ
