“It is unfortunate and concerning that in the first six months of the current year, 60 innocent civilians were killed in the government forces action which indicates that ten civilian were killed on an average each month and hundreds of people who were peacefully protesting were showered with live bullets and deadly pellets leaving dozens of them with grave eye injuries and bone fractures,” the spokesman added.
