Ganderbal 27 May【KNZ】: One person died while two others including a lady were injured in a tragic road accident in Beehama area of Ganderbal district late Saturday evening, police said.
A load carrier bearing registration number JK16-2675 collided with the speedy Tempo traveller bearing number JK02AQ-8863 at Beehama near tehsil office resulting in injuries to 3 persons.
Locals said that the injured were rushed to SKIMS Soura for treatment where Ashiq Illahi Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a resident of Naseem Bagh Hazratbal succumbed to injuries.
Police identified injured persons as Wasim Ahmad Akhoon son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Habak Srinagar and a tourist lady Elfha Ajay wife of Ajay resident of Mumbai.
Ganderbal Police has registered a case under FIR no 86/18 us 279,337,427 and started an investigation.KNZ
