‘Discouraging response to Imran Khan’s dialogue unfortunate’

Srinagar, Sep 28: Former finance Minister and senior PDP leader Syed Altaf Bukhari on Friday welcomed the suggestion of J&K Civil Society Coordination Committee for tie up between NC and PDP for formation of a new government in Jammu and Kashmir to defend strongly article 35-A and to fight communal forces.

As per Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, Altaf Bukhari said “the suggestion of J&K Civil Society Coordination Committee for alliance of National Conference and PDP for formation of a new government for fighting strongly article 35-A and challenges to Article 370 are welcome.” However he made it clear that tie up between NC and PDP for formation of a new government to fight rise of communal forces for defending Article 35-A and challenges to Article 370 are his personnel views but not of the party. He also condemned the killing of youth on Thursday this week reiterating therein “the killing of youth was a cold blooded murder.” He regretted central governments discouraging response to the offer of dialogue from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying that it is very unfortunate that the offer of dialogue from Pakistan was not responded well by the present central government.”

As already reported J&K Civil Society Coordination Committee leaders including Muzafar Shah (Awami National Conference), Advocate Mir Javaid and Jagmohan Singh Raina has urged National Conference and PDP to form a new government to fight strongly article 35-A and challenges to Article 370 in Supreme Court of India and strongly.
