GANDERBAL 07 FEB (KNZ):The families of two JK Police constables in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district had a narrow escape after an heavy accumulation of snow fell from the rooftop of nearby PHC building due to heavy snowfall on Thursday.

Reports said the two families of Mohammad Farooq sheikh and Ghulam Rubani Chohan both working in jkPolice as constable were lucky to narrow escape unharmed after an heavy accumulation of snow fell from the rooftop from nearby PHC Hariganiwan.

Eyewitness said The family’s were in their kitchen when the roofing snow crashed over their wall and cam to rest just inches from their kitchen.

“It was pretty scary,” “There was a loud noise i staring call my family loudly and saw an like an avalanche of Snow rolling from rooftop of the hospital building and crashed into our boundary wall said a family member of Farooq Ahmed.

A police official while confirming the incident said that the boundary wall of the house of farooq was damaged in the incident.

He said the family’s to escape unhurt in the incident and the families are shifted to safer locations.KNZ
