Srinagar: For the second time in a week midnight gunshots triggered panic in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, sources said on Thursday.

Local sources told Kashmir Reader that panic gripped the apple town when sudden gunshots were heard during midnight at around 3:30 am from different locations.

SSP Sopore Harmeet Singh confirmed the midnight gunshots and said that there was no need to panic. “It was practice fire,” he said.
