Kashmir Oct 21 [KNZ]: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today skipped the police commemoration day function because of her bad health, sources said.
Mehbooba was to preside over the function at Zewan, in the outskirts of Srinagar , however at the last moment she decided not to attend and sent her senior party leader Abdul Rahman Veeri in her place, they said.“Mehbooba ji could not attend the function because of her bad health,” Veeri said in his address at the function.
Every year on October 21, police forces remember its members who were killed or died while performing their duties.
