Ganderbal:A meeting of District administration officers under the chairmanship of secretary District Legal services authority Ganderbal “Mr. Iqbal Rafiq Vakil” was held in the Conference hall of District Court complex Ganderbal.
The meeting was held as desired by Principal Secretary of Hon’ble chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir State. The following issues were matter of discussion 1. Waste management Project in District Ganderbal on the lines of “Project Tsangda” of Leh District. 2. Road map for no Plastic & Garbage in District Ganderbal and, 3. Road map for redressal of Environment & Social Justice issues in District Ganderbal.
The Concern officers/officials put down their abilities and inabilities to carry on the said projects and the inabilities projected were thread barely discussed to the solution attained. The Secretary District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal requested all the concerned to put down the project as discussed in a road map form and to implement it in a true manner at grass root level.
Among the officials Assistant Commissioner Development, Sub Divisional Magistrate Kangan, District Forest Officer (DFO) Ganderbal, Designated Officer Food Safety Ganderbal, Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal, Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, District Panchayat Officer, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Ganderbal, Chief Executive Officer Wullar Manasbal Development Authority, Chief Executive Officer Sonamarg Development Authority, Chief Horticulture Officer Ganderbal, District Social welfare Officer Ganderbal, Ex. Engineer PMGSY Ganderbal, Ex. Engineer Irrigation Ganderbal, Ex. Engineer R&B Ganderbal, Ex. Engineer REW Ganderbal, Ex. Engineer PHE Ganderbal, Tehsildar Ganderbal/Kangan/Lar/Wakoora/Gund/Tulamulla, and Block Development Officer Ganderbal/Kangan/Lar/Wakoora/Gund/Safapora/Sherpathri. The General Secretary District Bar Association Ganderbal, PLVs of District Ganderbal and Retainer Lawyers also participated in the meeting.
The officials under took to share their responsibilities in letter and spirit & under took that the results of the implementation of the said schemes will be clearly visible within days in the District.
The secretary DLSA Ganderbal will himself inspect the day to day progress and implementation of the scheme and directed the officials to submit progressive report on Weakley basis
