GANDERBAL 17 APRIL【KNZ】: Life on tuesday returned to normal after remaining crippled for two days in Kangan Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District.

Kangan shuts to mourn the succumbing of a local youth who was injured at the hands of forces

According to reports that all shops,Business and other activities resumed today and traffic was plying on all routes normally

However, “as a precautionary measure” District Administration Ganderbal has decided to suspend class work in Degree College Kangan and Boys/Girls Higher Secondary school Kangan, official sources said adding rest of the educational institutions are functioning normally.

Pertinently, 22-year-old Amir Ahmad Lone of Chuturgul Kangan had been injured in clashes with forces on April 3 in Kangan.

Large number of people were seen busy in purchasing different household items from the main market.

There was no major deployment of police and paramilitary troopers in the township.

Amir battled for life at SKIMS Soura for two weeks and succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

Earlier, another youth, Gowhar Ahmad Rather of Kangan, had received firearm injuries on April 2 and succumbed on April 3 triggering protests in the town.KNZ
